Volkmann, Inc. spent three successful days at the Pack EXPO East convention, held in Philadelphia Feb 27- March 1, 2017. Mounted by PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, of which Volkmann is a member, Pack Expo East drew 400 exhibitors and 7,000 professional attendees to the three-day conference and exhibit. Volkmann, who exhibits at all the Pack Expo shows, found Pack Expo East particularly beneficial as it draws from a regional audience near the company’s headquarters in Bristol, PA and offers a great opportunity to cultivate relationships with potential customers.

“We find trade shows an exceptionally good environment for showcasing our equipment capabilities to prospective customers,” remarks Volkmann president, Nick Hayes. “Pack Expo East is particularly attractive as attendees tend to be locally based and can more easily come to our plant for product testing.”

Volkmann exhibited its line of high quality, high performance vacuum conveying systems for the transport of fine food powders, chemicals, granules, pellets, tablets and other small components in lean, dense or plug flow conditions at this year’s booth as well as a working conveyor line moving powders throughout the overhead tubes around the booth’s perimeter. In addition, an All-Fill filling machine with a Volkmann conveyor system, sold through this OEM partner of Volkmann, was showcased.
